The Balkwell Community Hall is a public resource that was set up over 70 years ago for the benefit of the local community.

 

 

The Hall is used by many local groups including:

 

• Parent & Toddler Group Monday & Wednesday (term time)
• Slimming World every Tuesday evening
• Card Craft Classes every Monday lunch time
• TEA DANCES every Tuesday 1.30pm till 3.30pm
• Line Dancing every Thursday & Friday evenings
• Dog Training Classes every Wednesday evening
• Children's Parties
• Private Parties

 

The extensive hall is well maintained and capable of seating over 120 people in comfort. We have a full width stage with sound and lighting and an artistes room behind the stage area. There is a separate chair and table store and a fully fitted kitchen plus modern male and female toilets and a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.

We have an air circulation systems and a full air conditioning unit giving rapid hot and cold temperatures.

A projector and screen is available at a small extra cost.

The hall is user friendly with wheelchair access and is suitable for parties and events for all ages at very reasonable cost.
